Young people, particularly youth artists, are creating ripples in the world of water guardianship. Ripples 2021 is an arts zine created by youth for World Water Day. Led by the Cowichan Valley Earth Guardians team, and supported by POLIS and the Canadian Freshwater Alliance, the zine showcases artwork, short stories, poetry, and photography that celebrates a shared love of and connection to water—all by youth and kids ages four to 20.
