Part love letter and part call to action, Ripples 2024 features artwork, photography, poetry, and prose by students and young professionals, ages 6 to 25, who reside in the watersheds of the Indigenous lands today known as British Columbia. Ripples was created for World Water Day out of a strong conviction that youth voices hold a critical place in conversations about watershed governance and stewardship. The overarching theme of this year’s issue is human connection to water in a rapidly changing climate.
Ripples 2024 was created by the University of Victoria Sustainability Project in collaboration with the POLIS Water Sustainability Project and NatureKids BC.
