Megan joined the POLIS Project on Ecological Governance and POLIS Water Sustainability Project in May 2014. She provides support for POLIS’ communications, outreach, and research activities.
Megan holds a diploma in Restoration of Natural Systems (2018) and a B.A. in Environmental Studies & Anthropology (2015) from the University of Victoria. She focused her studies on the ethnobotany and traditional land-use management practices of B.C. First Nations. She greatly enjoyed a summer of cultural and natural field work on the southern Gulf Islands through a position with Parks Canada’s Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. Megan is interested in pursing graduate studies in natural resource management and hopes to deepen her skills in data management, transcription, and reporting.
