Damien Chang is a 2023 summer intern with POLIS and the Centre for Global Studies. He is a third-year student at Harvard College pursuing a double concentration in Government and Chemistry, as well as a secondary in European History, Politics, and Societies. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, he cares deeply for the environment and is passionate about his island home. When he’s not writing papers or reading books about 19th/20th-century diplomats, you can find him walking along a random trail or beach. He is grateful to be spending his summer in Victoria, B.C. and enjoys his work at the Centre for Global Studies.
