As Communications and Research Assistant, Claire supports the development and sharing of knowledge around sustainable watershed governance. Before starting at POLIS, Claire began working at the University of Victoria’s Centre for Global Studies in September 2019 as a work study student. In April 2020, she completed coursework for her BA in Political Science and plans on attending law school in the future.
Born and raised in Victoria, B.C., Claire spent much of her youth outside enjoying British Columbia’s “natural amusement park”. She has many fond memories of kayaking, biking, and camping trips with her family growing up and is motivated by the desire to ensure families can enjoy these same experiences for generations to come.
