On September 18th, 2017, the Vancouver Sun published an op-ed by Rosie Simms, Oliver M. Brandes, Merrell-Ann Phare, and Michael Miltenberger. Drawing on their report Collaborative Consent and British Columbia’s Water: Towards Watershed Co-Governancethe op-ed lays out a viable pathway for B.C. to realize its commitments to govern according to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
