The current B.C. government has committed to reviewing the role of the current Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development (FLNRORD) and is seriously considering splitting the role into two ministries: 1) Forests, and 2) Lands and Natural Resource Operations (LNRO).
This briefing note provides context for upcoming decisions about how government can best conduct the FLNRORD restructuring. It outlines information for individuals and groups who will be meeting with Minister of State Cullen and the LNRO Secretariat on the possible roles for the new ministry and the overall reorganization.
