The WSP’s Ben Parfitt authored an op-ed about the critical need for the Province of British Columbia to monitor and publicly report data on groundwater withdrawals. Currently, B.C. has no comprehensive groundwater regulation, and major water users, including Nestlé Waters Canada, are not required to obtain a permit or report their water withdrawals.
