The Pacific Business and Law Institute summarizes outcomes from A Water Gathering: Collaborative Watershed Governance in BC and Beyond – Solutions Forum. The event brought together watershed managers, users, and government at all levels, including First Nations, to discuss opportunities for collaborative watershed governance in B.C. and across Canada. It took place January 26th and 27th, 2012 and was co-hosted by the B.C. Ministry of Environment, Fraser Basin Council, Living Lakes Canada, Okanagan Basin Water Board, POLIS Project on Ecological Governance, Water Policy and Governance Group, and Wildsight.
