From June 3rd to 5th, 2024, over 400 people gathered in Kelowna, B.C. to learn about the stark realities of the societal, health, cultural, environmental, and economic costs of wildfires across British Columbia and the actions needed now. Co-hosted by the POLIS Wildfire Resilience Project, Wildfire Coexistence in B.C. Solutions Symposium brought together B.C.’s leading wildfire experts and practitioners not just to focus on the problems, but explore solutions and immediate actions to take today.
