In this webinar, speakers share the story behind the development and negotiation of the historic transboundary water agreement: “Mackenzie River Basin: NWT-Alberta Bilateral Water Management Agreement,” signed in March, 2015 by the Governments of Northwest Territories and Alberta. Speakers explain what makes the agreement innovative in Canada and the world, and discuss why they think similar transboundary agreements are critical to the successful governance of watersheds in Canada.
