Webinar—Cross-Canada Checkup: A Canadian Perspective on Our Water Future

Date: May 29th, 2012

In this webinar, the guest speakers offer a perspective on current and emerging water challenges and priorities across Canada, and illustrate the interrelatedness of many water issues common to all Canadians. They explore the Northwest Territories’ groundbreaking new water stewardship strategy as a model for water policy reform in the rest of Canada, and discuss the emerging need for a new national vision for understanding the value of water in this country.

This webinar complemented the launch of Cross-Canada Checkup: A Canadian Perspective on Our Water Future, published by the POLIS Project on Ecological Governance at the University of Victoria and the Adaptation to Climate Change Team (ACT) at Simon Fraser University.
